Disgusted with the American presidential election? Move to Canada.

But not just anywhere in Canada -- Cape Breton Island on the east coast.  Here is a direct quote from the website Cape Breton if Donald Trump wins: “Hi Americans! Donald Trump may become the president of your country! If that happens, and you decide to get the hell out of there, might I suggest moving to Cape Breton Island!”
Those wild and crazy Canadians are at it again. The website includes answers to frequently asked questions about how to immigrate and where to find jobs. It goes on:
“Don't wait until Donald Trump is elected president to find somewhere else to live! Start now, that way, on election day, you just hop on a bus to start your new life in Cape Breton, where women are legally able to choose an abortion, Muslim people can roam freely, and the only 'walls' are holding up the roofs of our extremely affordable houses. We have a dedicated team of volunteers ready to get the ball rolling, so get in touch today!”
The island is approximately the size of the Hawaiian Big Island. The temperatures hover at about 80 degrees in the summer, the ad says. During the winter, it is similar to the American Northeast.
The problem is that the island is experiencing “a bit of a population problem at the moment," the ad says. "We need people. We need you! This is not a joke! See for yourself, you belong here with us on Cape Breton Island, where health care is free, you know your neighbors and they look out for you, and nobody has a hand gun!”
