Deadline to vote on new spacesuit design

But NASA wants to change all that. So that no fashion crimes are committed, the space agency is asking citizens to weigh in on the look of its new Z-2 suit. Visitors to NASA’s website are asked to vote on the style they prefer by the end of today -- April 15.
Engineers brag that they used laser scans and 3-D-printed hardware for suit development and sizing. Produced in collaboration with ILC, the primary suit vendor, and Philadelphia University, the suit has been tested in a full vacuum. Now, NASA wants to give it “a look unlike any suit ever built before,” the website says.
